How it works

Medical and consent forms are switched on by your clinic in settings. You can set consent wording per treatment, or use the standard statement.
After booking, patients are prompted by email to fill out their form. The link opens it on their phone.

They read the consent statement for their treatment and sign by typing their full name. The exact wording, their signature and the time are stored together.

The medical form asks about the things practitioners need to know before an aesthetic or skin treatment:
Each treatment can have its own consent wording, so the statement for laser hair removal isn't the one for filler. If a treatment doesn't have its own, a standard statement is used.
When a patient signs, the exact wording they agreed to is stored with their typed signature and the time. If you change the wording later, their record still shows the version they saw. There's never a question of which version a patient agreed to.
Patients can go back and update their answers right up until their consultation starts, for example to add a medication they forgot.
Your team can't edit a patient's form. What your practitioner reads is what the patient wrote.
On the visit screen, the answers sit alongside the patient's medical summary. Anything that needs checking is flagged, such as "check before treating" next to a blood thinner.
The first time a patient fills out the form, their answers help fill in their medical summary, which then carries over to future visits and is confirmed at each one.
Some patients will always arrive without filling out their form. They can complete it on a tablet at the front desk, right up until their consultation starts, so the practitioner still has answers before treatment.
The front desk can see whether a form was filled out, never what's in it. The answers are only visible to practitioners and admins. See how the front desk works.
Medical answers are protected by permissions enforced by the database, not just by hiding buttons. A front-desk login can't read a patient's medical form, even by going around the app.
Visitors' IP addresses and browser details on signed forms are cleared after 90 days, a data-minimization rule that runs automatically.
